As many of our customers noticed on their iOS devices this morning, today we released the latest version of Impero Connect Mobile for iOS.
Designed to help drive efficiencies, the remote access app enables technicians to leverage the portability and functionality of their iOS devices while providing real-time support to desktops, laptops and servers.
Here’s a synopsis of what was included in the latest release:
- WebConnect Device Listing & Filtering: to help streamline connections, the app now enables users to view and filter target devices associated with their WebConnect account. Once the device has been identified, simply select it from the list to initiate a connection.
- Smart Connectivity: the app automatically determines, and uses, the fastest route for each connection, be it a direct connection using the TCP protocol (if possible) or through WebConnect.
- Windows Authentication: if a target device is configured to accept connections authenticated using Windows Security Management, support representatives will be prompted to enter their credentials (e.g. their username, password and domain).
