schools monitoring pupils’ web use with ‘anti-radicalisation software’

In response to the new Counter-Terrorism and Security Act, enforced on the 1st July 2015, Impero has developed a new anti-terrorism, extremism and radicalisation keyword library to accompany Impero’s existing keyword libraries, already designed to prevent cyberbullying, racism, homophobia, self-harm, eating disorders, sexting, grooming and others. The new library, available in Impero’s flagship classroom management software for education, Impero Education Pro, is discussed in this article by The Guardian and the new legal duty placed on schools.
