primary school wins £1000 to spend on IT with Gem 106 and Impero
10th May 2013
Congratulations to the staff and students at Annesley Primary School in Nottinghamshire, who are the winners of our competition on popular East Midlands radio station, Gem 106. The competition received an abundance of entries, but it was the answer given by staff at Annesley Primary School, who stressed the importance of IT skills for children, which both Impero and Gem 106 thought was deserving of the £1000 prize.
Headteacher of the winning school Paul Nolan told Gem 106, “Children love IT. It motivates them to work when, otherwise, they might not find it interesting. It’s important that we keep up-to-date with the most modern technologies.”
Impero is delighted to have provided Annesley Primary School with £1,000 worth of equipment, which the school has chosen to spend on iPads to increase mobilisation throughout the school. Headteacher Paul Nolan continued, “We’ve always wanted iPads – we think they offer more opportunities.”
Impero has also thrown in its core network management software, Impero Education Pro, to enhance the school’s improved digital learning environment further.
