What we learnt from this year’s TCEA Conference
15th February 2017
Hitting Austin, Texas once again for this year’s TCEA Conference, we left both fuelled and excited by our encounters with visitors, where we discussed the latest innovations in the EdTech world and showcased our products. We must admit, however, that the mass consumption of Tex-Mex and brisket, alongside the honky-tonk music, also added to this adrenaline rush!
Having just about recovered from the jet lag, we thought what better to do than share some of our memorable moments at this year’s TCEA conference. Take a look:
previewing our upcoming mobile device management solution
We had fantastic feedback from visitors who previewed our upcoming mobile device management solution, Impero EdLink, designed to work in conjunction with our flagship product Impero Education Pro. Appealing to the US education market’s needs for a mobile device management solution in schools, Impero EdLink allows schools to simplify the management and configuration of both school and student-owned mobile devices.
talking to our customers
Whilst we were at this year’s TCEA Conference we had also had some great conversations with our existing customers, who provided us with some fantastic feedback about how they are using our flagship product, Education Pro. Listing both the benefits it has given to their schools and wider school districts, alongside some fantastic examples of how Education Pro has helped support teachers and safeguard students, it’s clear that our software is transforming the digital learning experience at schools across Texas and the US. Why not take a look yourself and find out the benefits Education Pro is giving to Longview Texas Independent School District here?
discussing the benefits of product features
This year’s TCEA Conference also facilitated some great conversations around Chromebook management and online safety. With this year’s Safer Internet Day highlighting the importance of encouraging young people to be safe when using the internet, alongside the rise of Chromebooks in education, educators were delighted to hear about how our classroom management solution, Education Pro’s features appeal to these concerns. Whether it be our ability to remotely view Chromebook screens in real time or our keyword libraries detecting potential safeguarding or child protection incidents, we have it covered! Why not book a demo and see yourself?
Overall, this year’s TCEA conference and southern hospitality made for a fantastic experience. It allowed us to meet some great people, have some fantastic conversations around our new mobile device management solution EdLink (not forgetting our classroom management solution Education Pro), and also experience a bit of the Texas culture. Until next time!
