iKeepSafe is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to help youth thrive in the digital environment, by promoting safe and healthy use of technology. They track trends and conduct research to identify youth needs, as well as solicit expert opinions to develop resources and tools that assist parents, educators, and youth. Since 1976, the National Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders (ANAD) has been dedicated to the eating disorders community. ANAD advocates for the development of healthy attitudes, bodies, and behaviors. ANAD promotes eating disorder awareness, prevention and recovery through supporting, educating, and connecting individuals, families and professionals. The organization has been instrumental in developing the keyword library that is part of the internet safety features in Impero Education Pro software.

Hey U.G.L.Y

Hey U.G.L.Y

Hey U.G.L.Y., which stands for Unique Gifted Lovable You, is an international nonprofit organization that is dedicated to empowering youth to be their true selves and part of the solution to bullying, youth suicide and substance abuse. Utilizing peer-to-peer learning, Hey U.G.L.Y. helps students squish out that voice in their head that tells them they are 'not good enough.' The HeyUGLY.org website and their school assemblies have been saving the lives of bullied youth who are suicidal. Hey U.G.L.Y.'s self-esteem and empathy-building bullying and suicide prevention curriculum helps schools and youth-serving organizations co-create an environment of respect, acceptance and inclusion. Since 2002 Hey U.G.L.Y. has helped millions of students through their website, Choose To Change radio show, contests, curriculum and interactive assembly presentations.

Anti-Bullying Alliance

Anti-Bullying Alliance

The Anti-Bullying Alliance works towards raising the profile of bullying and the effect it has on the lives of children and young people. Working closely in partnership with the ABA and its young ambassadors has contributed heavily to our internet safety research, helping to drive down the issue of cyberbullying in education. The knowledge provided by the ABA has assisted in the development of specialist keyword detection libraries, along with definitions in the accompanying glossaries.

Impero are proud members of the Internet Watch Foundation, the UK hotline for reporting criminal content online. The charity strives to minimise the availability of child sexual abuse content hosted anywhere in the world. As members, we now have access to an array of resources, which will provide an ongoing contribution to Impero’s internet safety development research. The charity’s knowledge and expertise has helped to inform the keyword detection libraries now included in the internet safety feature of Impero Education Pro.

Beat is the world’s largest eating disorders charity and is the UK’s only nationwide organization providing information, support and help to people affected by eating disorders. The charity’s activities are centred around raising awareness and understanding of eating disorders. Working in partnership with Beat has helped Impero to develop keyword detection libraries which help schools to recognise when a specific combination of terms searched by a student may indicate risk.

Impero has partnered with Victvs, to draw on their years of experience and specialist content.

HOPE not hate, Britain’s largest anti-racism organization, investigates, exposes and campaigns against the activities of the far right and other promoters of hate in Britain, as well as internationally, to build community resilience against extremism. Impero’s partnership with HOPE not hate will help to inform, refine and improve our counter-radicalization keyword policy via the input of the organization’s specialist knowledge.
