Outcomes for

international schools

International schools continue to be the growing choice for both expatriate and local students alike. The quality of teaching and curriculum offering, often focused on the American K-12 curriculum, are all factors contributing to the thriving reputation of international schools across the globe. In order to sustain this reputation, and continue providing world-class education, international schools are required to integrate technology innovatively across the curriculum. While the value of redefined learning (such as the virtual world) is widely recognized, international schools still face an array of challenges from online distractions to keeping students safe.

Impero are proud winners of EdTech Exporter of the Year at the Bett Awards 2017 for our growth in the US market, responding to the rise of Chromebooks in education and increased focus on digital citizenship.

We’re also members of British Schools in the Middle East (BSME) and the Council of British International Schools (COBIS) and we hold regular user groups across the world, including in the Middle East and Benelux. Keep at look out for where you’ll find us exhibiting across the globe.

Impero Education Pro

Contemporary education demands a contemporary learning environment. As technology-enabled experiences become commonplace in international schools, it’s important that international schools have the right tools in place to support a modern approach to learning.

Impero Education Pro for international schools is a seamless, consolidated internet safety, classroom management and network management solution, designed to provide teaching staff with a comprehensive suite of classroom control tools to keep students focused and safe in the digital world. The software also includes a comprehensive internet safety feature, developed in partnership with internationally-recognized specialist organizations such as the IWF and SafeBAE (a charity co-founded by sexual assault survivors who appeared in NETFLIX documentary Audrie & Daisy). Developed in line with ISI best practice, we ensure that we’re the first to respond to the changing internet safety landscape and legislation, so international schools can prove that recognized standards are met.

Boasting speedy remote control and a whole host of other network and device management features, the software is proven to save time and increase efficiency for international school IT teams. And with over 75 international schools using the software to support digital learning, it’s not surprising to see why Impero Education Pro is trusted by international schools across the globe to support networks, enhance learning and keep students safe.

Impero EdLink

The proliferation of mobile devices across international schools following a K-12 curriculum has fuelled a rise in 1:1 schemes and BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) initiatives. As tablets and mobile devices, from iPads to Chromebooks, become an increasingly popular tool for learner engagement, international schools are required to facilitate effective monitoring and control.

Compatible with Android, iOS and Chrome OS, using EdLink alongside Education Pro enables international schools to effectively support BYOD and 1:1 programs, while protecting students and their devices. When used in conjunction with Impero Education Pro, Impero EdLink ensures that teaching staff have complete access to use the suite of classroom control and internet safety tools, while the general management of mobile devices is also simplified; education IT teams at international schools can control device settings by pushing out actions in bulk, such as installations and updates, or enforcing safe search or forcing single application mode. With granular reporting, intelligent SSID, GPS and iBeacon technologies, Impero EdLink is designed to help education establishments support successful mobile device integration and realize the benefits of mobile learning.

Impero Insight

An advanced reporting and analytics tool, Impero Insight provides international schools with access to a comprehensive overview of an international school group’s Impero data. Multi-server reporting enables staff to view, compare, contrast and analyse data across all schools in the group, via a visual dashboard, to help identify and track trends, such as safeguarding issues. The visual dashboards can be tailored to individual users (such as safeguarding staff) to ensure data security and that the right staff members have access to the right information.

Using Impero Insight, schools can support good decision-making and support a best practice approach by reviewing data on a school, classroom or student basis. This ensures that policies, such as those related to internet safety or safeguarding, are being followed and any areas which require improvement can be identified and addressed quickly.
