Education software specialist Impero announces new release and updates at the Bett Show
Nottingham, 24th January 2018 – Impero Software, the remote monitoring and management software specialist, will be previewing its upcoming release of Impero Education Pro, version 6.3 (v6.3), at the annual Bett Show in London, UK this week. Due for official launch in February, the new version features a number of enhancements and additional functionality. Impero has also announced an update to Impero iSafeguard, its online safeguarding training solution for school staff.
The Bett Show brings together 850 leading companies and over 34,000 attendees from the global education community to celebrate and discuss the future of education technology. Impero, whose solutions are relied upon by education establishments around the world, is shortlisted for two awards at the show’s prestigious Bett Awards ceremony: ‘Classroom Aids for Learning, Teaching and Assessment’ and ‘Company of the Year (over £3m turnover)’.

New features of Impero Education Pro (v6.3) include:
An ‘enterprise console’ using cloud technology to help technical teams quickly and easily apply settings to multiple servers via an intuitive console. This new functionality is particularly beneficial for Multi-Academy Trusts.
A web-based teacher console, providing- a simple interface, designed with teachers in mind. This new functionality offers a range of classroom control features and the ability to monitor multiple devices from single browser.
Impero Education Pro version 6.3 (v6.3) now offers automatic keyword library updates, if desired, giving schools instant access to the latest versions. Impero’s keyword library now includes over 20,000 keywords, abbreviations, phrases and URLs, developed with organisations such as Beat, the Anti-Bullying Alliance, and SafeBAE and using IWF’s illegal content list.
Impero now also offers support for GDPR compliance with a range of enhancements have been applied to Impero Education Pro in response to GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) requirements.
