Enforce acceptable use policies
Overseeing the safe appropriate use of technology in your lessons, and ensuring its effectiveness, can be difficult for teachers. Policy implementation is a high priority for UK school inspection bodies, so how can you communicate your acceptable use policies (AUPs) adequately to the students within your class?
A school’s acceptable use policies, from ICT, online safety, safeguarding and behaviour, can be displayed and enforced on-screen using Impero EdTeach. Schools can set up the software to automatically display acceptable use policy messages on school devices. This action highlights how users are expected to behave when using school devices, in line with the school’s wider acceptable use policies, and serves to remind students how to behave responsibly on the school network. The option to amend or update AUPs, when required, is also available with EdTeach, enabling schools to align AUPs to wider PSHE themes or specific values.
