This is an exciting and varied placement role which involves supporting the wider sales and marketing functions. Designed to provide an exciting opportunity to develop practical marketing skills in multiple areas, including lead generation, sales, campaigns and content, this role is perfect for someone unsure of which route in marketing to pursue.

the responsibilities
Maintain and update the company’s CRM database of education establishments
Identify data gaps and obtain missing information
Monitor all incoming enquiries from the website, ensuring prompt follow-up
Create and optimise content, including website updates and regular blog writing
Conduct monthly reporting on sales originating from marketing activity
Support social media strategy
Call on events, following a campaign, to secure attendance
Assist with exhibition and event management for local and global events
Support the company’s internal communication strategy
Manage marketing stock and exhibition goods

the ideal candidate
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and diligent student, with creative vision and excellent attention to detail. Extremely organised by nature, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that the company’s CRM database is kept accurate and up-to-date by obtaining information through online research and calling efforts. You’ll be happy to take on responsibility, work under time pressures to ensure tasks are completed, and generally go the extra mile. Ideally, you’ll also have strong copywriting skills, know your hashtags from your handles, and be able to mold technical jargon into easily digestible content. This placement role would be best suited to a confident student, looking for exposure to a broad range of marketing activities within the fast-paced B2B technology sector.
