We’re delighted to be attending the Digital Citizenship Summit at the Twitter Headquarters in San Francisco today, where a diverse range of speakers, including CNN’s Kelly Wallace, will be discussing ‘How can we be the digital change?’.
As a main sponsor of the event, Impero is proud to be involved and our CEO Sam Pemberton will be there in person to discuss the part education establishments can play in creating good digital citizens. To hear more about this best practice approach download Sam’s podcast from the event here.
On a day focused around uniting organisations to ‘Be the Digital Change’, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to launch our latest whitepaper ‘Digital Citizenship: a Holistic Primer’. The whitepaper has been created in partnership with authors from the Digital Citizenship Institute, including founder and CEO Marialice B.F.X Curran, Dr Jason Ohler, Professor Emeritus of Educational and Virtual Learning and Dr Mike Ribble, Ed.D, District Director of Technology, Educational Technology Presenter. The ultimate aim of the whitepaper is to “help students to learn to use social media for social good”.
