Impero donates astronaut to Denver Museum of Nature and Science

June 27th 2016, 9.30am the doors of the Colorado Convention Centre opened for ISTE’s annual convention and expo. EdTech Vendors from around the world travelled to Downton Denver to present their innovations to the global community of education enthusiasts attending this year’s show.

In keeping with Impero tradeshow tradition, booth 708 certainly stood out from the crowd! A space-themed stand complete with rocket ship, astronaut selfie station and freeze dried ice-cream caught the eyes of the ISTE crowd, including Gianna Sullivan from the Denver Museum of Nature & Science. Dedicated to enhancing the learning experience for museum visitors, Gianna admired the Impero stand and commented how great it would be to have something like it at the museum.

Never ones to get in the way of engagement when it comes to learning, Impero decided to donate the astronaut selfie to the museum at the end of the show. Chief Marketing Officer, Nikki Annison commented; “We were delighted with all the positive comments our booth received at ISTE. When Gianna said she’d love something like it for the museum we offered her whatever she wanted at the end of the show. While rehoming the giant Impero rocket proved a little too ambitious, the Astronaut selfie station is now the latest edition to the museum and we can’t wait to hear what the visitors think!”.

Gianna Sullivan, Distance Learning Coordinator, Denver Museum of Nature and Science says, “Students love to be interactive at the museum and this will be a great talking point on field trips. We certainly got more than we bargained for at this year’s show! We’d like to thank Impero and will make sure we tweet lots of pictures on the selfie stand in action!”.
