Impero pCredit can save you money by reducing wasted paper and printer toner by restricting users to a 'credit limit'.

Printer Management / Cost Control

  • Impero is able to automatically detect all your printers around your network, including printers installed locally to machines, then assign a cost to print in Mono or Color. You are able to modify the default printer costs as well as define the amount of credit each user has.
    There is no need to install Impero pCredit to each Print Server, no need to install virtual printer drivers and no need to update drivers for new printers. You can even link with Active Directory to pull a list of printers down.
     

  • Impero pCredit is group based, therefore you can assign credits to a group of users all at once. Using the group pCredit properties, you can specify an Auto-Recharge credit amount and how often you want to recharge credits. This will 'top-up' user credit levels automatically each day or week to keep restrictions on printing yet make the system self automated.
